VBA JV, in Rockdale, identified a requirement for additional facilities at their site. These included an amenities block, lunchroom, meeting facilities, and specialised
storage areas. Understanding the need to remove the existing building and have a fully operational facility by the end of the year, they made the decision to opt
for prefabricated construction methods to expedite the process.
To fulfill these specific needs, Marathon was commissioned to construct a purpose-built facility aligned with the nominated layout. The new
building included essential amenities, a spacious lunchroom, meeting spaces, undercroft storage, balcony access, and a lift for improved accessibility.
In addition to the construction of these primary facilities, Marathon also undertook associated ancillary works to support the overall project. This
involved the creation of a material holding bay to ensure efficient storage and logistics management. Additionally, a partition was installed in a separate
building to provide further flexibility and functionality to the site.
